How does a portal Identify between Licensed Internal Users and Guest External users. :- Portal user doesn't required licensed. They must be authenticated user in the instance i.e. Contact Table in the system.
Can internal users login via the Local Login or they need to login only view Azure AD. :- Users can login with the local login and Azure B2C as well , it is based on what sign-in policies you have configure for the Portal configuration. How to monitor between internal users login and external users login in portals. :- Internal Users who are having a license of Dynamics 365, could be the CRM Users as well as the CRM Portal Users. where External User cannot access Dynamics CRM directly, cannot do customization. They can only access the Portal to interact with the CRM internal users with limited access.
