Warehouse process for outbound

Hi every body

According to our business we need to add one step in the warehouse.we use warehouse management process for outbound.we pick our products and then put in the shipping location.

after this step we put a person to check the physic with the system(closed work)  . in some cases he finds Contradiction between system and the physic.how can i handle  this responsibility that person does by system instead of using manually . 

how can i correct close work?

    Hi,

    There could be a lot of things causing a difference in physical and system quantity. May be the inventory unit and the sales unit might have a conversion in them. As i see it, please check if all of the data is updated in the system, there might be some transactions causing a difference in the actual quantity present.

    Thanks for your answer.

    I want to know that is there any ways that we can change the quantity of close work?

    I see the "reduce picked quantity" , but the behavior system is not correct, in the put is reduced but in the pick stays on the previous quantity.

    Another question is that how can i handle that close work for controlling, it means that after all works are close , a person compare system with physic, how can i handle this part by system?

    Hi Sepideh,

    The reduced pick quantity function will work for you, as technically you did "pick" the value in the work. What it will do is request a location to put back the reduce amount so it keeps you stock levels correct.

    You will also have the ability to cancel/adjust the stock when posting your delivery note. Is this something that would work for you? If so then test using the "correct"/"cancel" functions on the delivery note overview section after the delivery note has been posted.

    The way I understand your question, you want to eliminate physical check process post pick task is completed.

    To eliminate physical check process, what I suggest is deploy HHD (hand held  devices) to scan picked items and let system do re-conciliation part of picked SKU against pick list.
