Pending workers list page shows the list of workers whose Employment start is greater than today's date which means they will get hired in future and then it automatically become the list of employees/workers. This question is also answer here in detail,
Hi 8chkay,
In my environment the delete button is active on the pending workers list page.
Pending workers are those having the employment start date is greater than today ,to remove a employee you can simply delete the employee from the list
