new company as I have lost the most recent data, I have old backup and I did restore it, I need to copy all settings like posting groups, chart of accouts etc. from the old to the new. Is there any way better than manula copy ?

or you can use the Setup Check List to transfer the data in new created company.
Administration->General Setup->Setup Checklist then go to Function->Copy Date.
