Draft event is accessible from portal

When i create an event, even in draft status, the event is accessible from the event portal without publishing to go-live. Is anyone facing similar issue.

If i type the URL in browser like, https://<<eventsporal>>,microsoftcrmportals.com/event?id=<<Readable event ID>>  the event page is opening from the portal.

This issue has come up when i stop an event from D365 by clicking stop button, the event status changed to draft. But the event page in portal is still accessible.

I then tested for a new event (never published to live). Even this is accessible from portal. This is concerning on the data security.

Any suggestions please.

    Hello Partner,

Yes, when you stop an event, the portal page will still be accessible. This is because, the related page is still active.

This is by-design today and you can submit a feature request to the team at - experience.dynamics.com/.../

Meanwhile, just deactivate the related page.

You can always make it Auto by creating a workflow or plugin to do it every time a live event is stopped.

    Cheers!

It s not only for live event. If you create an event (not published yet), this is accessible from portal if we concatenate the events portal URL and readable event ID.

The concatenation of events portal url and readable event id is not available to anyone who does not have access to Event Management.

Alternatively, you can share this as a feedback on this channel- experience.dynamics.com/.../
