Does D365 allow the employee to attach a document when they change their employee data?

For example, I get married and wish to change my surname. Is there an ability to request documentation to prove name change and have the employee attach this support?

If you have a Power Flow in place then you can attach documentations and send it out for approval to your manager. However, in the ESS you can attach documentations but you may not have the ability to change Master Data of an employee with your role and security assigned to you.
