Customer ID Address History - Where can I find more information about where address changes originated in the system from?

Hello,

I am looking for a way to drill down into the Customer ID of the Property Tax function of Great Plains.

Is there a way to show exactly where each address change originated from?

The address history shows some information, but not enough. Particularly regarding address changes that were not manually done by a user, manual changes thankfully show who did the change and on what date, but for any other change...no information is given so it makes it next to impossible to narrow down where the change originated from.

Thanks

    Hi Melodyn,

I'm not familiar with the Property tax function on Great plains on the customer card. Can you provide me a screenshot?  I'm wondering if that is a 3rd party window??   Typically some changes are recorded in the master records, but really the only thing I can think of is using some type of Audit trails to see who, what, when changes occur to the Master records.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Angela

    You might find this useful.

Note: If the table changes were done directly at the SQL level, for example: via eConnect, the method in the article will not "see" it.
