Hello all,
I need to be able to have as a filter the selection of length of fields.
I was wondering if there are any plugins which give the possibility to use such filters in advanced find.

I'm afraid there is no extensions that will do that for you. What's your scenario?

Sorry that there is no such OOB function and coding will also be a hard work.
In OOB,Advanced Find only support fetch xml and we could not filter records with field length in fetch xml.
In coding, D365 web api does not support using field length as condition to retrieve records from D365.
So I suggest that you could get all the records first, and then traverse each record to filter the data that matches the length of the field.

An example of the case needed is to select the records with zip code length > 6
I know we can do the select on an on-prem database and make any changes required with SSIS or Scribe, but I was wondering whether there was another approach on that.
Unfortunately you will have to select the data somewhere first (either in memory or to SQL) and do query to get all record with zip code that is longer after.
