Add the customer requisition number to your sales quotations.

Would adding the customer requisition number to your sales quotations be a big job? Is this simply a field that can be checked off under a setup> form page or will this require some form/report work to be done to pull this field into the quotation?

Thanks in Advance!

    Hi,

You cant add a field from Setup. You need to add it in the AOT level.

You can use the available field under Quotation > Header view > General > Reference > Customer Reference field which will also show in the Sales order.

Also can you let me know what are you trying to achieve.

    Hi Nishad,

I understand where the actual field is located. What I am asking is if I can add this to a printable sales quotation by checking off a box like if you wanted to add engineering attributes to sales orders. This is a simple checkbox like the one in Accounts receivable/setup/forms/form setup - Confirmation - Print engineering attributes.

Does this better explain what I'm looking for or?

what you're describing as 'Engineering attributes' sounds like a customisation (or an ISV add-on) since I don't recognise that in the standard package. On the quotation header there are two fields 'Customer requisition' and 'Customer reference'. I haven't worked with quotations for a while, but I think that they are both copied to the sales order header when the quotation is converted to a sales order. 'Customer requisition' is normally the field that is used for the customer's PO.
