Microsoft Forecaster 7.0 Sample data

I am looking to download the Forecaster 7.0 sample data, and would appreciate any help you can provide.

I am using Windows server 2003, and Dynamics GP 2010, and I have loaded the Forecaster application and SP3; But I dont have any data in the Demo company.

What must I do to download / populate the demo company data?

Your early response is much appreciated!

Regards,

David.

    Hey David,

The Forecaster sample data should be loaded with every client install.  It's usually an Access DB file located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Forecaster\demo70.mdb.  To log into it you enter the username of adm without a password.

If your access database is empty that would be odd and I would think I could send you mine or a re-install of Forecaster should add the good original back.

If you are looking for the sample data that goes with the books I can send that as well but would need your email address.

    Thanks!

    Hi David,

In the login window for Forecaster, click Manage COnnections.  Application Name should be Demo, DB Type is MS Access.  Click Browse and try to find the Demo file that comes with the installation (usually saved in the Forecaster 7 folder).

Once done, use 'adm' as the User Name and blank password (Standard Authentication).

Hi Tristan: Following your instructions, I located the data for the Demo company in the Forecaster 7.0 folder, within the default path.

Your help & guidance is truly appreciated!

Thank you and have a great day!

    Deesom.
