Hello,
I have a word template uploaded that extracts information from a custom entity and exports it to my computer. I want to save that document as a PDF in my sharepoint. I was following the below link for reference: https://www.crmsoftwareblog.com/2017/04/upload-crm-word-templates-sharepoint-attach-email/
However, I fail to understand the step 2 and step 3 of this workflow. I do not know which action is chosen - where can I set the input properties?
Would appreciate the help or any other suggestions on how to do this.
Thank you.
Moving this to D365 Sales forum from PSA for better visibility.
In the link seems using 3rd party tool (Dynamics PDF-Docs). You should ask to the vendor of the tool.
Also, the workflow of dynamics will be deprecate in the future. How about to use Power Automate action to convert to PDF and save to sharepoint?
The convert template is following.
Convert a Word file in Dynamics 365 to PDF using OneDrive (Business)preview.flow.microsoft.com/.../
I used Power Automate to populate the template and create a file in Sharepoint. It worked. Thanks a bunch
