Tracking email interactions with a Quick Campaign

Is it possible to track email interactions (such as who opened an email) when sending an email using a Quick Campaign?

I can't see a way, and the Googlesphere seems to say no, but it seems an oversight given that you can track email opens when sending an email via a timeline, and even in Outlook using Insights. 

Using 2020 Wave 2.

    Unfortunately, currently email engagement does not support emails sent via Quick Campaign.

    Here is an Idea that describes the same problem, and you can vote for it. The Microsoft team values Ideas with high votes.
