Can someone be able to tell me how to handle an MS Dyn NAV Partner who has not delivered the system in full after more than a year since a signed agreement and almost every module has major issues that they have/cannot resolve? Cannot afford to pay all over again for a new Partner so does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I have the same problem. I resolved it by having their staff member come to my office and sit next to me at my desk.
We then tried to complete each user task and he saw what was not working and fixed it. It took several weeks and I became a Superuser able to make the changes I need such as new user permissions, dimernsions etc. Six months later I am still emailing him every couple of days to fix errors
There is a very steep learning curve and as there are no user manuals for NAV, someone on your staff will have to write your own staff training manual before you can go live with it..
I am completely agree with Jens Glathe. You need to discuss the current issues with your partner. find out the bottleneck . sometime it is also require to review the expections from the system.

No, you're not the only one. Ask raokman, for example. Anyway, a court case doesn't deliver a working ERP system, btw. "Best practice" IMO is to hire/contract at least one experienced NAV developer / consultant yourself (I mean the ones with 10+ years of doucumented experience), and to make an assessment on what your requirements are and how they can be delivered with NAV. Often, the root cause is wrong expectations / wrong choice of product / no sufficient initial analysis of requirements. And as a golden rule I would say that requiring more than 50 consultant days to deliver what you require points to quite a gap in functionality, or a really large setup.

Jens
Then you can sit with them and discuss and come to an agreement to solve the issues you are facing.
If it does not work then you have to change your Partner.
Yes, we have a signed agreement. Just very surprised that they do not care that they are MS Certified Consultants for NAV. We do not wish, if possible, to go down the route of a court case. Also, we are amazed that we seem to be the only one in the Forum/blog that have encountered such a problem.
I guess you have signed an agreement with them before so you can definitely file a case against them.
