In which table of AOT, the value(Amount) of Asset and Liablity is stored in Ax 2012?

Can you be more specific? It is related to fixed assets or the general ledger?

Hi Andre....I wanted to list Debt ratio, for that i need total assets and total liablity...When i checked main accounts there is no Value for Assets and liabilities, it only listed as Asset n liability....I need the amount...

General ledger-> Main Accounts there is a field called type.It differentiates Assets and liabilities. But there is no field which gives the value of that Asset/liablity. I want to know where the Amount is stored...Form or table

I am not 100% sure on your requirement but probably you are looking for sum/balance of main account that you can get by MainAccount.getBalance Method

I am learning SSRS reports...And in that i am having task to find debt ratio...To calculate debt ratio i need total assests and total liability...so that i can divide each other value....If i get where the value is stored i can calculate sum of assets and sum of liablity and find my required result...

the amount are finally saved in Table GeneralJournalAccountEntry

But it will be a bad idea to calculate/sum amounts from there.

if you want to know sum of any main account or more than more one accounts, refer to same method as I specified previously.

Can you please give me example of how to fetch using MainAccount.getBalance() method ..
