I configured a Web Page Access Control Rule to Restrict Read for Anonymous Users, as follows:
Right: Restrict Read
Scope: All content
Web Roles: Anonymous Users
However, a user (granted Authenticated Users role for his Contacts) was redirected to the Access Denied Page with the following error message, after logging in to Portal via Azure AD.
Access Denied
We're sorry, you don't have permission to view the requested content.
* The user is able to view web page if the Rule is disabled.
* The web page has an Entity List, with Entity Permissions, for which have also granted minimally Read permission to Authenticated Users
May I know if I am missing some configuration?
Hi ruihaolrh,
Did you mitigate this issue?
Please mark some answer verified if it provided resolution to the issue faced.
Thanks
Hi,
Make sure both anonymous and Authenticated roles are not assigned to a single user.
Hi ruihaolrh,
You are supposed to associate the role to which you want to provide read access in the rule you created. So you would want to associate the Authenticated Users role rather than Anonymous Users role.
Please go through the below link:
docs.microsoft.com/.../webpage-access-control
Hope it helps. Please mark it verified if it provided resolution to the issue faced.
