Unable to connect MSD NAV Webclient

Hi All,

Unable to connect the application through Webclient. I have configure the Web Client Base URL in the admin console as the format of   "<http>://<webserver>[:<port>]/<webserverinstance>/WebClient".And also the OData Base URL defined. It's getting a message as "System Cannot be reached" while connecting the application through through Webclient, There is no issue with Windows client.

I have disabled the Skype service to avoid the conflict for default port 8080.

Appreciate your valuable inputs to resolve this issue.

Thanking You,

Ranjith E  S

Yes, the port is correct and i have tried with both server name and IP.

Is there anything to check with application ?

    Hi Ranjith ES,

    First try http://localhost:port/WebserverInstance/WebClient.

If it works then system might not be reachable because the firewall of the server has blocked the ports or the WebServerInstance is not running in IIS.

If your Server is hosted on Azure VM then you'll need to use SSL certificate, bind the IIS Server with port 443 and Inbound/Outbound Ports should be defined.

Is the port correct? Are you using server name or IP address? Have you tested with the IP? It could be a dns-related problem.
