Create Event (real-time) & set it to Live with Flow does only set Publish Status to Going Live

Hi,

I want to create a real-time event via Cloud Flow (Power Automate). For that I create the event record as the user would do it manually. In the next Step I found an action (msevtmgt_EventGoLiveRequest) which seems the correct action to taking an event live. The event is created and the Publish Status becomes /Going Live/. And the ribbon button /Go live/ does not appear.

I read in the documentation that a GoLive of an event should be triggered via the Ribbon Button GoLive. So it seems there is additional logic behind that button. I checked that button but there is only a webresource (js) which calls some action with no additional information.

My questions are:
a) Is there a way to take an event Live via automatism?
b) What does the Publish Status tells me? What validation is behind or why is that Publish Status there?

Many thanks,
Robert

    Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make events go live automatically.
For the Publish Status field, users can use this field to store information about the readiness of the event, including whether the event is ready to publish or real-time.
For more detailed information you can refer to this document.
