Import of vendor invoice journal lines through data import export framework is required.

Dear Team,

I want to import the number of lines on vendor invoice journals in ax 2012 through the Data Import Export Framework. But I won't be able to do that.

I just want to know which entity is used for such a task?

Prompt response is highly appreciated.

    Obviously I did not read that information carefully :-)

    To my knowledge, for vendor invoice journals there is no specific entity available.

    You can, however, use the ledger journal entity to import your invoices in a GL journal.

    That is basically the same as using an invoice journal.

    However, you have to put special attention to the invoice number, due date, etc. values that you need when posting vendor invoices.

    P.S. I prefer using the pending vendor invoice form for posting all kind of invoices incl. expense invoices. The only thing you need to do is creating purchase categories and setup/map specific ledger accounts to them. This might be something you can think about when you upgrade to the next version.

    Hello,

    Actually, the invoices which I want to upload are not backed by any PO or item. Invoices are basically related to service charges that's why I want them to be uploaded on Invoice Journal.

    Don't you post all of your invoices in the pending vendor invoice form?

    Isn't it the above mentioned entities belongs to Purchase Order Invoicing ?

    I want DIMF entity for Vendor Invoice Journal
