Changes to Navision Object

Dear all

We are currently being audited by one of the Big 4. A script was given to us to run to extract object changes from our Navision system. When we ran this script, we noticed that 69 changes seems to have been made to our application objects. However, I am so sure that we did not make any changes at all in the last one year.

Although I'm not so sure if the script was actually developed properly to extract object changes, I will really appreciate it if you could assist in reviewing a snippet of the output as attached for confirmation.

For changed object you need to contact your partner as it changed based on customer requirement.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Actually, our partner did not make any changes as far as we are concerned. We did not request for any changes at all last year. Is it possible for our partner to make changes without us knowing?

    Hi,

Analyzing if and what objects are customized its a process and cannot be done via script.

You need your partner to identify that too.

Powershell is a tool which can be used to do that but it will developer licensce to do that comparision as its based on text files.

Your object text files need to be compared with Base Microsoft version to generate a list of modified objects in the database.
