ReportReport

Hi,

Good day! We would like to generate a report for open sales quote that we have and sends the report daily at a given time to an email group.

I tried the print management function and used the printer email address to indicate the email address where the report should be sent to but I only got the report in the report inbox center but not on the email.

How do we generate sales quote which can give us a report like the total number of quotes created for the day, total unit price, etc.

Appreciate your assistance.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

For email you have 2 options

    1) Go to Printer Management then click on Email Print and Add an email printer and define the name and then email address (group email). Make sure you have SMTP setup in your BC. Then use this printer id to send email to email you added there.

    2) Use free app appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.canarys_automation|AID.canarys_mail_utility|PAPPID.2edd7224-5609-4939-b317-8379086daf53

For the report. I cannot recall any out of box report here. But you can

    1) Develop that report in BC.

    2) Use Jet Report

    3) User Power BI Desktop free and manually email the report.

    4) Use ODATA in Excel to generate and email the report.  www.youtube.com/watch

    5) Use Power Automation. Something like this idea (which is for CRM) www.syvantis.com/.../how-to-use-microsoft-flow-to-automatically-send-a-weekly-email-of-open-leads-in-dynamics-365

Maybe Power Automate is a good plan. You can extract the sales quote you need on a scheduled flow. You could output the details into Excel or just a html table in the email itself.
