BOM check - speed up performance

Hello,
 
we are facing a slow performance (several minutes) when changing a BOM (e.g. add an item) and using the changed BOM for the first time (e.g. new production order). We assume that the long processing time is resulting from the BOM check, which is executing everytime a changed BOM is used for the first time (indicated by the field /BOMTable.CheckBOM/).
 
Did anyone have similar problems. Are there any settings we can check in order to speed up the BOM check?
 
We would really appreciate any hint on this.

    Hi Sebastian,
     
    To be sure what is causing the performance issue, you can use the Trace Parser and check which part of the coding or database calls are causing the delays. Once you know the culprit, you can check what to improve.
