Hi All,

Can any one give me the example of header and detail portion report like purchaseorder, but purchase order report having the single record in header portion , My requirment is header also send the multiple records?

i want to customize the report purchase order through parameter purchase order number , if end user not passing any purchase order number ,i want to show all the purchaseorders and details.

just create 2 datasources classes in the AOT 1 for Header and 1 for line

the line has a filter of the header

add these 2 datasources to your SSRS report and start designing.

i am not taking one more class in the same method i am filtering the bassed on header record but report shown as header as 1 part and lines or below part .

sorry did not understand your question correctly.

I will give you not the solution only the direction.

look in the exctended SrsReportDataProviderPreProcess class of the report.

try to make the parameter "purchase order" optional.

[SRSReportParameterAttribute(classStr(PurchPurchaseOrderContract))]

public class PurchPurchaseOrderDP extends SrsReportDataProviderPreProcess

the contract used in this class is also used on the dialog when running the report.

in Visual studio, change the use to not mandatory

after that you have to hoop the report is still working
