But the RTS user has system admin access in AX and the profile is linked to retail store. The error is not giving any stacktrace

    Hi,

    Check:

    A) Windows Service > Microsoft Dynamics AX Commerce Data Exchange Real-Time Service  6.1 > Status : Started | Logon As : "RTS user"

    B) IIS > Application Pools > "RTS AppPool" > Identity:  "RTS user"

    C) log on to "RTS user" on server > Open Dynamics AX Configuration Utility > Connection. (target local client and business connector)

    I hope this Helps!

    Regards,

    Rodolfo Recalde.

    Hi Rodolfo,

It does not work. By the way this is in separate partition, so tried to create new configuration with partition also but not working. Last but least, as it is test environment i am using IIS self signed certificate and it has been installed on POS trusted root certificate authority store as well. I hope this wont be a problem. As per my research, connection from POS to RTS is successful but from RTS to AX using BC is failing somehow.

Yes I found the issue. What i was suspecting was correct. BC internally using AXNET.Logon() method to login but it does not accept partition parameter.

Now would it be possible to connect to partition. I tried to create new configuration (both local client and business connector) with partition and set it as default one but still BC taking from Original(installed configuration).

Meanwhile as we can not edit Original configuration i tried to edit directly from registry but partition field is not available there.Added new field and value but not working. Tried with shared configuration also but not working

    > logon with the RTS user. ( you will have to give permission in AD for this user to make a remote connection)

    > Give admin permission to RTS user on server.

    > Create a new configuration (Manage> Create Configuration). for Target > Local client and BC > Set partition > Refresh.

    > Logoff - logon RTS user.

    > Restart the RTS service and IIS.

    Hi,

I fixed the issue. In the Dynamics AX ( for desired partition) 'Current partition is default partition' should be checked for RTS user. Anyway thank you so much for our help
