Howdy CRM World,

Just got a bizzard requirement where in when my sales ppl insert email template (either from within CRM or outlook), apart from automatically filling in email subject & description, they also want to add a mailbox address or any user automatically to the email To/bcC recipients list. Is it even possible?

I know there is no place in email template to configure this or OOB way of achieving. Looking for valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Chakka,

We have an addon Email Template Editor for Dynamics 365 CRM. Using this you can create easily create responsive email templates just by drag and drop. I am not sure where it has the feature of adding Recipients Dynamically. But we can do a custom development for this.

You can ask for a free trial and view more details at the link: www.solzit.com/.../

Please have a look at the video link attached: www.youtube.com/watch

    Thank You.

    Hello Zack,

Thanks for reverting back. I did explore the tool but it looks like u guys dont have that feature which adds the recipients dynamically to email To field. I am bit curious abt the "Custom Development" statement u made above. Could u elucidate how can we achieve this using custom code? Like plugin or JS or are there any plugin steps to achieve this.

    Thanks

    Hey Chakka,

Elaiza Benitez has a great post detailing how you can do this using Power Automate: How to send an email to multiple recipients using an Email Template with Power Automate ~ Benitez Here.

With this process, you can dynamically populate a list of recipients and send to them using the unbound action "SendEmailFromTemplate".

I've used this myself, and it works very well!
