Batch processing file Output AX2012R2

Hi

im trying to generate and place an Output of an Report in Batch.

It works fine as Long as i use the local drive vom the Server (c:\temp) but when i try to put it on a Network drive ( like s:\data) i get an error..

any ideas?

    Yes.

    The aos-service (windows service) is run under either "networkservice" or a dedicate user account.

    A interactive session (client ) will have no problems accessing a mapped drive ( s:\windows_server\share). However the "AOS" running in the background as a windows  is not able to access a mapped drive.

    You need to specify it as a unc path. Ie: \\windows_server_name\share_name\"

    Be aware that the network service migth require rights on your remote share. Setting up the aos-service with  a dedicated user account (ax2009_aos) and granting rights to this account on the network share might give you a clear picture of what system/machines are required to access the network share if you are to review the rights on the network share at a later stage.

    I can confirm UNC paths work, we currently have a batch job that writes to \\servername\path (both AX 2009 and AX 2012)
