As of the October 18 update anytime we go to edit our journal batch in excel (super key for us, lots of large data entry sets) the edit in excel function will display the lines from ALL batches and will not allow us to publish any changes we make:
We have about 15 staff who use this on a near-daily basis for entries that are 300+ lines and to be honest it is crippling us after just a few days. Does anyone have a workaround?
Great that worked for us! Expensify extension wasnt the best either.
Ok so for anyone else who is googling their issue and having this thread as the only thing that comes up I am marking it at resolved.
After getting in touch with MS Support through our implementation partner it was discovered that an extension for Expensify by Stoneridge Software was breaking the general journal edit in excel function. No issues before the October update.
Uninstalling this extension immediately fixed this issue.
