Any Thoughts on importing Project Tasks, Assigned Resources and Cost (Historical data )importing from another 3rd party system to the Projects Operations?

    Hi D365HR,

    The only way to migrate data to Project Operations for 3rd party systems is to use the schedule APIs.  The only alternative is to manually create the projects with tasks within ProjOps.

    Importing historical cost data can be done using the journal functionality in CE depending on how much detail you want to have. On standalone Project management & accounting in  F&O transactional data migration was done using a specific journal type of "beginning balance". Transactional data is generally then migrated at the transaction type level, E.g. (Item cost, Expense costs, time costs).

    If you need full transactional listings (i.e. category/line level) migrating then a different approach would be needed.
