Editing the Stage Button of a Business Process Flow

Posted on by 146
Hello,

When I click on a Stage Button in my Business Process Flow, a small pop-up box opens. Is there a way to make changes to that box? (image below):

//
The Estimation & Pricing Phase is just the 'Quote' Phase of a Sales process but renamed. I am trying to replace the Blue 'Next Stage' Button inside of the box with the 'Activate Quote' button that is usually in the ribbon.
Then under it I need to add the 'Create Awarded Project' button which is now visible in the ribbon (it is the same button as Create Order but renamed to fit my case).

Is this possible. I really appreciate any help as this is a requirement to facilitate user interaction and I've been stuck for a while with it.

    Hi Joseph,

Although it can't replace the original buttons, we can use the workflow to accomplish the needed functionality.
    Advance Settings > Processes >+New
Select the BPF you want to change, design an on-demand workflow as follows:
Refer to the following link to place a workflow:

    Hello Haig Liu,

Thanks for your reply. I was wondering what you meant by an on-demand workflow to be placed on the BPF. Is there some tutorial or video for this?

    Regards,
    Joseph

    Hi Joseph Nasr,

As the screenshot below shows, all of the Next Stage buttons are under the same Control.
But I didn't find this control in the control list of this BPF, so it's not an editable part, the developer hid the code.
It is recommended that you try to design an on-demand workflow to be placed on the BPF to replace the functionality implemented by the buttons.

    Best Regards,
    Haig Liu
