Seeking to allow Sales Reps to Create Orders on behalf of other Sales Reps

Currently - when a Sales Rep attempts to Create Order from another user's Quote - the user receives a permission error.  Below are my current security settings for the Sales Rep role.  I can't figure out why the users are receiving the permission error.

it's not going to help your privilege problem, but community.dynamics.com/.../act-on-behalf-of-another-user will explain why the "behalf" privilege is not the issue:

"Note: The ability to impersonate other users in Microsoft Dynamics CRM applies only to applications written to use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web Services. This ability does not apply to users using Microsoft Dynamics CRM using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web Client or the Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook Client. "

I'm not very confident that "act on behalf..." is the same as "create...for..."  Also, unless something has drastically changed, the error report is XML.  It shows the systemuserid of the person who attempted the transaction as well as the missing privilege.  You might have to change the system settings momentarily or in UAT to allow users to report errors to Microsoft in order to get at it.  I don't have a picture to share, but it is (has been?) the middle of the 3 hyperlinks on the error dialog box.

Perhaps someone else has a more exact route for you to get to the error report you need.

Actually - I already have "Act on Behalf of Another User" selected for all of the user roles that are affected.

FRom memory you also need to tick the "Act on Behalf of Another User" setting on the Business Management tab

    Hi Ramirez,

It should be possible to download the log file from the error. Please download and share the error message from the log file with us.

    Stefan,

Thanks for responding.  Here is the text from the error message:

You do not have enough privileges to access the Microsoft Dynamics 365 object or perform the requested operation. For more information, contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 administrator.

    Hi Ramirez,

Could you provide the details of the permission error please?

Looks good to me, but that is why you need to get the body of the error message.  It will tell you exactly what privilege is missing.
