Pipeline Phase not showing on Reports and Views for certain Opportunities

I have a case where the Pipeline Phase is correct in the Opportunity itself but there are blanks on reports and views for that Opportunity.  Other Opportunities show up correctly in those reports, but not for a few Opportunities.  If I look at those same Opportunities in our Sandbox, they are showing correctly there in the reports and views.  Any idea what the issue could be?

Hi. Not sure if you figured this out already, but I wanted to let you know what I suspect causes this...I did some testing and records that do not have a Pipeline Stage indicated in a View are Opportunity records which were created using Quick Create.

I believe the quick create form is causing this issue in my system also. No pipeline phase is displayed until someone opens the full form and you can see the system do a save as soon as you enter the opportunity, after that the correct phase is displayed.

That said i still cant figure out how to fix the issue

Hi Scott. I resolved the issue by creating a Business Rule against the Entity, that said that "IF Pipeline Phase Does Not Contain Data, THEN set the Pipeline Phase to "specific value" (I chose the first phase)."

Hope that helps. If so, please mark as such.

    Kindly.
