My Balance Sheet and Income Statements are not centered on the page when they print. The margins are equal - .5" top, bottom, left, and right. I went into Column Definition and deleted what appeared to be blank columns not needed. But, there is still a lot of extra white space on the right. How do I correct this so that the report data is centered on the page, left to right?
One thing to check is to see if you have 'shrink to fit' flagged anywhere.
Check to see if you have any column with spaces before - in column settings.
Just a thought - post more details such as screen shot of how it prints to screen vs how it prints to paper.
Good luck
Hi PattiK323,
Are you displaying the MR reports on screen with the Web Browser or with the MR Viewer ? Are your reports generated by using the DataMart or the Legacy connector ?
I've noticed that the page layout for the columns and rows are different when using either the DM or Legacy connector, and this would have a serious impact on the produced output.
Also, Microsoft has modified a few CU builds ago the default output from "MR Viewer" to use the Browser, which I'm not a fan and don't understand the move.. but you can change that in the MR Designer Options to use the built-in viewer as default.
"shrink to fit" is not flagged. I had some column with spaced before; but, cleared those. It did not change the output. Here is a snapshot of how it prints, with all the white space on the right.
I'm using the Management Reporter Viewer. I'm not sure what you mean by DataMart vs. Legacy Connector. Either way, the printed output is not centered.
This is what my Column Definitions look like now. Previously, the "Extra Spaces Before Column" was populated with 7.25 in A and 2.25 in B. However, the printed output did not change.
Under Report Definitions>Settings>other, this is what the Page Setup looks like:
What article are you referring to? Is this related to my question regarding reports not being centered?
PattiK323 this is a bogus posting and will / should be removed - the link is to a 'benefitwallet.me' and should not be followed.
Pattik323,

Anonymous posters hiding behind random names try to hijack the community forums for a while now by posting seemingly related answers, but hiding embedded links to unsafe web sites.
I am still having this issue. Can anyone help?
