No search/filter function in segments in Realtime??

It seems incredibly unusual and highly impractical that you can't search a segment in Realtime. There is an option to filer the name or email, suggesting it's possible to do so, but this is greyed in our instance for all users.

Can we unlock this functionality or is it just not possible to search a segment for a specific user?
I have the same question (0)

    • No, it is not currently possible to search/filter members of a real-time segment.

    • The filter/search input is shown in the UI but intentionally disabled as per current product design.

    • This behavior affects all users and is not configurable or unlockable via security roles or settings.

    Workaround:
    To analyze segment members:

    1. Use the Real-time Marketing API (msdynmkt_MembersList) to fetch segment members programmatically.
    2. Or, rebuild the logic in a custom Dataverse view or Power BI report if needed.

    Thanks for confirming Muhammad.

It's extremely disappointing to see that such basic functionality is still unavailable in Realtime.

Just another in the extremely long list of negatives in this useless platform.

Realtime is still years behind Outbound marketing, when will MS realise this and make this platform user friendly?!

You most likely cannot search a segment for a specific user in Realtime view, especially by PII like email or name, due to technical limitations or data privacy restrictions x trench run, even if the field appears in the UI. The greyed-out filter is likely intentional and not unlockable via standard settings.

Really feel your pain with this, Eddie. We used Dynamics for marketing for 2 years and some of the missing functionality is shocking, it was only until recently you could even export a real time segment - so basically you were sending and just hoping it was correct as there was no way to do any spot checks to make sure contacts were included/excluded.

What I find more frustrating is the fact they seem intent on rolling out co-pilot features that are 100x worse than just having a decent UI. The co-pilot segment feature for example requires you to upload a file???? So I'm expected to create an audience definition in a separate file to upload into the system, this is not saving me time! I haven't even tried the feature to be fair because I cannot be bothered with the faff, but how some of this stuff makes it into releases is truly astounding.

We have recently moved to HubSpot and I can tell you it is above and beyond in terms of usability.

I mean, come on ...these workarounds. I just want to see if Bob is in the list or not.
