Main accounts legal entity overrides

Hi,

When I connect to the Contoso environments, the legal entity overrides in the main accounts list is empty but all companies can see all accounts. In other environments I work I see that if I don't add the legal entities on the legal entity override for each account, the accounts can't be used. Anyone knows the logic behind this? Thanks!

Hi,

We dont need LE overrides to use main account, if there is no overrides, that means open for all, unless suspended or block for manual entry.

All you to make sure, the main account is included in account structure.

Hi,

I agree with Ramit. In AX7 company specific configurations on a main account takes place under the Tab page "Legal entity overrides".

Hi CapsLock,

As mentioned above, you only need overrides when there is a deviation compared to the global settings. Can you check if your environment has certain country specific features or a customization?

In the 'other environment' where things work as expected, have there been legal entity overrides been setup?

Alternatively, do you make use of different account structures in the other companies that restrict the main accounts that you can see in the 'other environment'?

I would expect the latter.

Can you confirm that?
