Hi Team,
I am trying to connect the D365 FO instance in logic app using D365 FO connector and I am not getting the FO instance in the drop down after connecting using my login details. Could you please let me know if I am missing anything on this.
Regards
Venkat
Thanks Nikolaos
It needs to be in the same tenant that D365 is associated with.
Hi Nikolaos,
Do I need to App registration on the tenant in which FO is using or can i create in different tenant as well?
Please help on this.
At least for Power Automate the D365 connector only works within the same tenant.
About HTTP request, you need to put your D365 URL in the redirect url list of your AAD app registration. And add your AAD app id in Azure Active Directory Applications form in D355 (if you use app id + secret).
Hi Nikolaos and Andre,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I just checked and found that I am creating an logic app from a different tenant in which there are no D365 FO instances deployed. Could you please let me know if it mandatory to create a logic from same tenant in which FO is using if I am using D365 FO Logic App connector.
I was also trying to use HTTP POST request by giving the AppId and key for the FO instance which I have registered but I am getting UnAuthorised error. Please share your thoughts on this.
You should see all D365FO environments that are associated with the O365 tenant of your user account.
Hi Venkat,
Can you confirm this is an environment deployed by your organization? If you are a guest user on another environment or using a trial from trials.dynamics.com, then you can't use that environment.
