Matching policies

Hi I want to apply 2 way matching to apply in-tangible items. Meaning all items without item numbers but with Procurement categories. 

I know I can do this under purchasing policies. 

How do I apply 3 way matching for everything else and allow 2 way matching everything with procurement categories?

    Dear Axer,

    You can apply two way matching in procurement category based on procurement policy. And apply three way matching from account payable parameter.

    I still get the error after I have done just what you said after I set the procurement category on the line.  

    "The line matching policy cannot be changed to a lower line matching policy than Three-way matching. It has been set to Three-way matching. (Where Three-way matching is the company matching policy)"

    What does the "Vendor" matching policy be? It is currently being set at company policy. This is under AP > Setup > Invoicing > Matching policy. Does the Allow Matching policy override need to be changed?

    Please confirm if we are in same platform. You want two policy to be implemented one for category and one for inventory. Right??

    if not

    Please explain in detail.

    1.Are you using item master?

    2.Procurment Category Tangible?

    3. Procurement Category Intangible?

    Please explain me your scenario in detail so that I can help you in this possibly.
