AX 2012 R2 - Edit VS Analysis Project error: XML namespace...

Hello, my VS Analysis project gets an error when I try to (right click) Edit to make modifications to the project. The project deploys fine from the BI wizard.

I am using TFS for version control.  I see that the project's property "ProjectTypeGUID" is {000000000000}.  

Would anyone know why this error is happening?

Here is more of the text I see in the AX error output area:

Exception: The default XML namespace of the project must be the MSBuild XML namespace. If the project is authored in the MSBuild 2003 format, please add xmlns="schemas.microsoft.com/.../2003" to the <Project> element. If the project has be

    Check out this blog post, which suggest updating ProjectTypeGUID.

    Hi Martin and thanks for you answer. I saw that post right after I posted this message but I would like to know why this GUID is not updated correctly, that post seems to indicate it is a bug and that there is a solution from Microsoft. I am having issues not being able to add new dimensions to my project when checking in, so I thouhgt that problem was related to updating the project.

    I still dont know but  as the blog mentions, I should contact MS for that solution. Thanks again.

    I don't know why it happens - I even don't know when it happens. Can you reproduce the problem? Is the previous version correct?

    It does sound like a bug and you should report bugs to authors of the software (i.e. Microsoft in this case), nevertheless they will ask for details too.
