How to maintain shifts and weekly roasters in D365 HR

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

My client needsnto maintain weekly roaster for employees which will change on weekly or biweekly basis. And components changing are either the Shifts or Weekly offs.

For ex: 1 June to 20 June employee is working in general shift from 9 to 6pm with weekly offs on Saturday and Sunday. From 21 June to 30 June, same employee is working in night shift from 6 pm to 2 am and weekly offs for him are on Monday and Tuesday.

Regards

    Hello Gaurav,

Was able to look into this a bit further, but from everything I have seen, this sort of functionality seems to be only offered through our Supply Chain Management and Shop Floor modules (within the main D365 platform)  and does not look to be possible through the D365HR / Leave and Absence. While it may be possible in the future, it is not available in the product at this time in the kind of automatic rotating shift fashion described.

    Hello Gaurav,

Thank you for your email - I see that this has the tag for Leave and Absence within D365HR, but that module focuses mainly on time off and related plans - this question seems to be something similar to what I believe we offer in our D365 Supply Chain Management and related modules for shop floor, breaks, and work schedules. Are you looking for similar functionality for rotating shifts in D365HR?
