Hi,

I have one project time sheet in AX 2012 R3.

I assigned cost price and sales price in project module setup for project hour journal posting.

I approved and Posted my time sheet, also i received the VOUCHER number.

But if i go and check the hour transaction, the received voucher number was not available in Project Hour Transaction.

I checked GL parameter batch job and cost price, sales price setup.

Please guide to get the VOUCHER details in Project hour transaction form.

Note:

Technically I gone through the details, my voucher generated and update on TSTimeSheetTrans only.

After that the process not going...

My point of view, I think I missed SETUP. Please check me...

Hi,

Please confirm if the timesheet has the status 'posted'. If so, can you check if the hour transaction has a cost and/or sales price?

If this is still the case I would like to know the project type of the project on which you posted the hours. If it is project type 'time', no voucher will be posted due to system design.

Otherwise check if the settings on the project group is set to none or never ledger. In that case also no voucher will be posted in the ledger.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

As you said, I checked my time sheet status was posted.

My Project Group is "Time and Material"

But I don't know how to check the Project group setup is "none or never ledger".

Pls give me path to test it.

if "T&M", what I have to do to view the voucher in Project Hour Transaction.

Hi Kanagaraj,

You can open Project management and accounting > Setup > Posting > Project groups.

Select your T&M group and check the contents of the field Post costs - hour. This determines if and on what type of ledger account the costs will be posted. If the tick box Accrue revenue - hour is enabled, also additional ledger entries will be created to represent the not invoiced turnover.

I have checked all setup (project group and status of time sheet).

Any other setup required to generate the project hour journal.

If so pls help with the steps, and how to upload the timesheet and invoice it to the customer.

As Ludwig Reinhard said, please create a new thread and explain your issues with the version of AX.

Because the above issues I faced in AX 2012 version.
