In the android version of the field service mobile app, the entities that can create records have an additional menu choice of 'Save and create new' that appears within the ... menu on each form. Using ribbon workbench, we've removed this from the ribbonxml and it does disappear from the windows mobile app but not the android app. We don't know where this code is living and how to remove it. Any ideas where this is configured and where we can get to it to remove it?
Hi.
Can you get more details with Command Checker?
powerapps.microsoft.com/.../
the doc says this only works in the browser app, not in android or ios apps
Hi rbeste,
Unfortunately, this button is a system button for mobile apps. It is just like the Show Chart button and can't be hidden. And based on my test, there isn't this button on the windows mobile app.
You could submit an idea to improve this feature at here:

Handle these buttons through a security role, my friend. Take the privilege of creating and Updating. The button will be hidden automatically.
Let me know if I can provide you with more details

the technician needs to be able to edit and create records so we can't remove those rights to remove the button. We just need this specific button removed and just so everyone understands, this button does not function properly especially in an offline scenario since when adding new from an existing record instead of the initial create does not fill in mapped fields so the user experience is unusable in many cases.
then You can hide these buttons by adding condition
when form name = 'desired' return false else return true

i'm not understanding what you are proposing. These buttons are not accessible through the ribbonxml manually or through ribbon workbench and they only show in the android app (and possibly the ios app as I haven't tested there yet) so how do we reference something that we can't determine where it is being added to the system?
Sorry, but is it Resco Field Service mobile app?
Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

Hi, android version of the field service mobile app the technician responsible for editing and creating records, I need to be able to keep those rights so we can't remove the button. We just need this specific button removed. I want to be clear that this button does not function properly, especially in an offline scenario. If we're adding a new record from an existing one, mapped fields don't get filled in, which makes the user experience unusable in many cases.
