Hi There, I have some slideware that i use for communicating how the fastrack Migration process works. Please see example below:
My question: is this slide still relevant or has the process been upgraded since this was first published? Does the fast track migration tool get the environment to 2015 still, or does it push it to 2016 then into the cloud environment? Are there any updated assets that i can use in this respect?
Pravin's answer is correct. We no longer use that slide. That process is now internal to the service and is subject to change. The useful part of this now is that the process supports on premise version 2011 through CRM 9.0 on premise. I have attached the latest pitch deck.
FastTrack's Migration process upgrades your on-prem 2011 version all the way to D365(V9.0) before moving it to online/cloud environment. So, the path is CRM2011 -> CRM 2013 ->CRM2015 -> CRM2016 -> D365(9.0) -> Online
