Local Currency Korean Won

Posted on by 5

Hello: We have recently established a local company in South Korea and need to set up BC for accounting. This system is inconsistent in using the correct currency symbol '?'. Many forms continue to show '$'. Here is our setup:

Sandbox in Azure Region: East US

General Ledger Setup:

  • LCY Code: KRW
  • Local Currency Code: ?
  • Local Currency Description: South Korean Won

Some screens have switched, e.g. Role Center Activities tiles, most of the forms have not switched or show a mixture, e.g. Sales Invoice shows the correct totals with the LCY Code but the info panel shows Credit Limit ($) - see sample screenshots.

What do we need to do to completely switch to the correct currency symbol? Or - do we need to run in a separate environment the Korean localization?
