Number sequence reference not showing up in one environment

Hi All,

We have many FO environment and in one of the server we are having peculiar issue right now with number sequence , it is not showing most of the custom number sequence

under the module>> set up>> parameter form>> number sequence

We tried some steps but this is not getting fixed and requires your help in this.

We went to organization administration >> number sequence >> generate but still the number sequence is not coming under references.

Please let me know what can be the issue(there is no code issue as this is one of the client server which is having issue but rest of other servers are working fine)

Hi rohit1900,

For custom number sequence, there is a need to load them first of all before they will be available when you generate number sequences under organization administration.

What developers do most time to do add an action menu button to load the custom number sequences. I advice you speak to your Technical team on that.

I guess you are talking about load module job normally which we run

class loadMyModule

{

/// <summary>

/// Runs the class with the specified arguments.

/// </summary>

/// <param name = « _args »>The specified arguments.</param>

public static void main(Args _args)

{

MyNumberSeqModule numberSeq = new MyNumberSeqModule();

numberSeq.loadModule();

}

}

but my question is that this is client server we don't have the access to execute this process

You have to write the code on the DEV then move it to client server. You might want to attach the code to an action menu item, or you can Run custom X++ scripts with zero downtime.
