I have 20+ computers running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Prior to this upgrade from 2003, all of these units were successfully running Dynamics SL 7.0, FP1. I just set up a new computer (same as all the others in the organization) with MOPP2010 and it runs great. A week later I installed Dynamics SL and this unit and it installed ok but will not run. I get the following error: ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error". "EventType clr20r3, P1 msdynamicssl.exe, P2 7.0.0.0, P3 4903e7c4, P4 microsoft.visualbasic, P5 8.0.0.0, P6 4889f422, P4 5b, P8 2c, P9 system.io.fileloadexception, P10 NIL".
I have removed all .NET Framework file and re-installed them in order through Windows Update and still I cannot get Dynamics to launch. I know I must be missing something very simple so I thought I would reach out for some input.
The only difference in this new unit and all the others is that all of them had Dynamics installed on them prior to upgrading to MOPP2010.
Has anyone ran in to this problem before?
