How to retain the caret position in "Multiple Lines of Text" field

Hello.

I would like to retain the caret position in a text field after minimizing the browser.
To copy and paste a text out of Dynamics 365 while editing a "Multiple Lines of Text" field,
it goes without saying that I am required to minimize the window once.

When I maximize the Dynamics 365 window after copying the text from other contents,
the caret position in the field that I have edited is moved to the beginning of the text,
although I would like to copy the text in the middle of the sentence.

I have to re-assign the caret position every time I copy and paste some texts out of Dynamics 365.

Strange to say, the phenomenon mentioned above only occurs when I am using Internet Explorer.
In Google Chrome, the caret position can be memorized.

For some reasons, we cannot use the Google Chrome browser in principal in our business hour.

if you have any solution to this problem, would you please let me know?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Leo.

Thank you for your quick response.

I would like to consider your suggestion that we should shift to Microsoft Edge.

    Best Regards,

    Ryo

    Hi partner,

I've tried in my IE11 and I also met this situation. I added the web url to "Compatibility view Settings" and it still didn't work.

Then I did the same operation in Edge, it worked well. Edge and IE are all Microsoft products but IE lacks some support to D365   so I recommend that you could use Edge instead of IE?

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Leo
