AX 2012 R3 - Client unable to connect to Report Server

Hi,

I'm configuring a new Report server for AX 2012 R3.

The SQL 2016 Reporting Services are installed on the AOS server and configured, the ReportServer and Reports page open without a problem. But, when I enter those settings in the AX Client and click Validate Settings it throws an error in regard to the SQL Server - Access denied. The account used to connect has all the required permissions on SQL and is a local admin too.

Struggling with this issue, any ideas people?

Before you validate the settings in the client you need to create a new configuration for the instance.
