Running D365fO, Update 3. In previous versions, when creating the depreciation proposal with 'Summarize depreciation' selected, I was sure that one depreciation journal per asset was created, regardless of the number of fiscal years the asset was in service. Now, when I create a proposal with these conditions, I get a journal for each fiscal year of the asset life. For instance, an asset placed in service on 3/1/2016 creates two journal lines - 1 for depreciation through 12/31/2016 and one for 1/1/2017 through 4/30/2017. Is my recollection incorrect or has something changed in D365fO? Thanks
