Does the Entity have any charts - have you created a chart for the Entity? (the Dashboard combines views and charts etc you don't create them there)

Go to the Entity definition and you will see a Tab (make.powerapps) or treeview item (Classic interface) under the Entity and create the Chart you desire.

    Hi Ibby,

Which entity are you using? What is the name of the entity? Is it an out-of-the-box entity or a custom entity?

The error you meet is same with following screenshot?

Regardless of the entity, you should first check if a chart exists for this entity before adding component(chart) to the dashboard,

In the new UI, simply navigate to the entity you want the chart in, then select “Show Chart”, then you can view all charts(System and personal) of the entity.

If not, you need to create new charts for the entity.

    pastedimage1615342861149v2.png

    1.Create system charts.

Go Settings > Customization > Customize the system > Entities to expand one entity you need, then click charts of the entity.

    2.Create personal charts.

After clicking 'Show Charts' button, select the “…”, then click + New, this will open the chart editor in a new tab.

    [/quote]

make.powerapps.com -> Solutions open the respective solution (or the default solution - last one in the list), then find and open the entity and then click the respective chart and view tabs

or from within a Solution file click the Switch to Classic button in the command bar and user the treeview and expand the Entities list  (can also get to the Classic via the 'cog' icon (inside your CRM App) and selecting Advanced Settings->Customizations (or Solutions)
