Social Media Posting in Real-time marketing / Customer Insighst - Journeys

Posted on by 12
Hi Community,

I have several clients requesting social media posting within the solution, however with the transition to RTM this is no longer available.
Is there anyone who has experience using an integration for this purpose or any other solution to the problem? I have been recommended using Sprinklr.

Please let me know if you have any input.

Thank you for your help!

You just need to use power automate for a basic integration. If you want to do something specifically inside a journey, you would need a custom trigger + power automate. The person would need to understand Power Automate, custom connectors and the developer documentation of whatever social media platform you are trying to connect to. Its not a hard thing to do, but does require prior knowledge to do it well. We've done plenty of integrations at my company so I can say from experience that it is not hard or time consuming for someone who has prior dev experience.

Social media posting in real-time marketing is super interesting. It’s incredible how businesses can connect with customers right when needed. It feels more genuine and personal.

    Hi,

According to the official documentation, there is no equivalent for the functionality from outbound marketing posting to social media in the real-time journey. There are no plans to merge this functionality. We think it's likely that this feature won't be released anytime soon.

The link to the official documentation is as follows

In addition, if you think this feature is essential, we encourage you to submit your idea to the Dynamics community using the link below, and we will keep tracking and giving you feedback on any new developments.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
