document number value was different between LedgerJournaltrans and generaljournalentry table

Hi expert,

I use Document number in the General Journal entry. when journal was posted. I saw in the general journal entry table, value in the field document number was different with LedgerJournaltrans table.

why did this can happen ? any suggest ?

    I suspect some customization to your system may be responsible.

    In class LedgerJournalCheckPost method postJournal, we can see the ledgerJournalTrans.DocumentNum and ledgerJournalTrans.DocumentDate being supplied directly to LedgerVoucherObject, where it is copied directly to to the GeneralJournalEntry table.

    Can you investigate your customizations?

    I think part of the issue may be that more than often more than one LedgerJournalTrans record is involved in a given voucher in GenearalJournalEntry, which means the DocumentNumber field could get copied from a different LedgerJournalTrans record that you are comparing it against.  Also some types of ledger journals will have specialized behaviors, i.e. Vendor payment journals, or if an Invoice number is specified then the post process can create invoices (either customer or vendor) and the behavior of DocumentNum can be slightly different.

    thanks in advice.

    after investigated, I found 1 Voucher contains various document number in each lines. I thought that the problem was.
