Hi team,

I need to add one column as display method in QUERY based SSRS Report.

The report has already used AOT -Query.

Can I add directly display method in AOT - Query ? And then used in report? OR

Shall I go to use AOT- View , then need to add display method and then used in report.

Which option is recommended?

Please give me more shed on this

Thanks!

I am not sure you can make use of display method on a Query object. A display method is used to display a data based on a record that already exist.

In this Microsoft documentation, there no where it is indicated that display method can be added to a Query.

In AOT -Query also we have option to add method. If I add display method and use in report,  it will not work?

Please give me more shed on this

Please, make use of a View. Add a display method on that view.
